Knowledge and Training

A Humanitarian Service Skeptron and Volunteer's knowledge and training is an essential part to gained skills for health volunteers while handling disaster response. First aid and basic fire safety should be part of basic training in areas. Humanitarian Service Skeptrons and Volunteers can augment a community's ability to respond to disasters by providing additional response capacity through different skills and abilities. Many organizations share knowledge and resources throughout the disaster cycle—preparation, response, and recovery—to help disaster survivors and their communities. As a Skeptron and a Humanitarian Service Fraternity and Sorority, we help our community in the aftermath of a natural disaster or on emergency situation
